Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) is a true worldwide epidemic with over 36 million people currently affected. In the US someone is diagnosed with AD every 69 seconds. It is the 6th leading cause of death for all age groups. AD affects 50% of those 85 and over, but can affect people in their 40s and 50s. There is no treatment or cure for AD. Prevention is the key. Learn how medication awareness and lifestyle changes can reduce the risk of developing AD.
This workshop will be a combination of presentation and practice. Attendees will learn which medications to avoid and what medical research shows about the benefits of diet and yoga.
